Aroyewun’s Administration Rekindles Pupils, Community’s Hope By Restoring Block Of Classrooms

The administration of Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA), the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has again been commended by the Education Secretary, Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Ikorodu Local Government, Alhaji Taiwo Abiodun Odumbo.

Alhaji Odumbo lauded the intervention of the council boss in bringing back to life a block of classrooms at Methodist Primary School, Elepe 2, which he said has been dilapidated and neglected for years.

The educational administrator, emphasised that the intervention in the structure which once stood as a symbol of painful reminder of neglect, has restored hope for the school and the community at large.

“The once dilapidated block of classrooms at Methodist Primary School, Elepe 2, stood as a painful reminder of neglect; cracked walls, broken ceilings, and a roof in ruins

“Today, that same block has been given a new lease of life, thanks to the exemplary leadership and commitment of the Executive Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Hon. Hamed Olalekan Aroyewun. This continues to serve as fallout of the strong synergy and collaborations existing between the LGEA and the Local Government Chairmen.”

Addressing the matter at issue pointedly, Alhaji Odumbo furthered,

“By restoring this learning space, Hon. Aroyewun has rekindled hope for pupils, teachers, and the entire community. This facelift is an investment in the future of our children, ensuring they learn in a safe, dignified, and inspiring environment.”

In expressing the LGEA’s appreciation, the Ikorodu LGEA Secretary said:

“We extend heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman for his dedication to education and community development. Thank you for putting this block of classrooms back in good shape and giving our children a brighter tomorrow.”
